Looking Forward to a  Great 2008

The Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek, is moving forward with plans for the coming year.  We have been refining our data files to better serve the People that are within our Communities. What does this mean to US?  Our Communities are in need of many things, economic opportunities to help support activities, better medical care, proper housing, child care, employment training, better education and the list goes on.  We need the help of all of you to make things happen.

2007 in Review:

SC State Recognition, Changes in leadership, additions of towns and leaders, expanding councils, revision of enrollment cards, updated historical files and data, setting priorities for the future of the Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek and SEUS. 

As we face the New Year we have decided on the issues that are most needed for The People.

1) Education

2) Health Care

3) Housing

4) Employment Opportunities

5) Researching Future Economic Possibilities

These are the Top Priorities for the Future of the Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek/SEUS in 2008!

Any other suggestions will be considered and appreciated.

Some Additions and Changes

We have been updating Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek/SEUS records and issuing cards:

• New Cards contain different designs.
• Veterans memorial, need names of Ancestors. 
• Events update.

To avoid any confusion:

We would like for those of you who may be on several different Rolls to help us get the records updated and clear, we need you to contact the community of your choice to update your information.

The request from the Beaver Creek Indians in Salley, SC (formerly the Beaver Creek Band of Pee Dee Indians) for information on any of those folks, we both may share on our rolls is needed.    As you all know we DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION without your written and documented permission. That is a promise I made to ALL of you and is also part of our Constitution and By-Laws.  

For what ever reason you may have been placed on both rolls it is time for you to check it out for yourself and your future generations.  We must now have you make the choice as to where you wish to remain and to make sure Your Records are updated within that Community. 

As the Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek/SEUS have SC State Recognition as a Native American Indian Entity in the State it matters. 

Please help us help Our People by contacting the Pee Dee Indian Nation Beaver Creek/SEUS.

1) REMOVAL: MAIL a Letter with complete Name, address, and telephone number requesting you be removed from the Rolls. Each request must have a signature for each person age 15years and over verifying you want to be removed.  All requests will be contacted. No Emails.

2) UPDATE RECORDS:  You can send an e-mail to webmaster@peedeeindiannation.com 

Please include full name, address, phone# along with your updated information.  Should we need further items we will contact you.
